Our new club officers have been working hard preparing a roster of informative and fun presentations this coming season. The Blossom Boys will be back in April 2017 for an encore of their popular demonstration of Flower Arranging. Next February's program will feature professional organizer Colleen Klimczak who will also discuss arranging - your stuff! A trip to the Chicago Flower and Garden Show and our annual Plant Sale is also on the agenda.
Trip and Visit
One of our founding members, Cindy Kamp, has invited club members to visit her new home in Michigan and tour the Meijer Gardens nearby. Beth Donahue is arranging a car pool on August 27th. Contact Beth if interested.

Preserving Your Harvest
Kate Bradley will walk us through saving our overabundance of garden produce. Whether freezing, canning or drying, the correct process makes a difference. No one knows these procedures better than Kate and she's done them all. Kate will have handouts for all to take home after the presentation. We will be enjoying our vegetables, fruits and herbs long after we've picked them from our gardens! Join us on Thursday, September 1st at the Library. We meet at 6:30 p.m.
Thanks to the Evergreen Park Public Library and their director, Nicki Seidl, for their unwavering support!
Blossoms for Books Garden Walk
Ten of our beautiful local gardens were open for viewing on August 7th. Half of them belonged to our creative, innovative and very hard-working club members. On display were yards of all sizes with flower gardens, vegetable plots, eye-catching patios, and imaginative ornamentation.
