|GARDEN CLUB OF EVERGREEN PARK||
We are having a Fundraiser!
The Garden Club of Evergreen Park
It is our Second Annual Plant Sale and Auction to benefit the club. This is our only fundraising event of the year. Member support will help to keep the costs of membership down and allow us to have informative and entertaining speakers at our programs throughout the year..
Bring your friends and neighbors!
a Plant Sale and Auction for 'Special' Plants
Plants for sale will include perennials and herbs. Members may also contribute house plants, pond plants, grasses, wildflowers and native plants, succulents, bulbs, roots, and rhizomes.
Plants should be in sturdy containers or pots. Members can also donate planters and ornamental receptacles as well as hanging baskets.
Plants at the sale will be priced as marked. Some of our Master Gardeners will do the pricing.
Cash and local checks accepted.
Special plants for the Auction will include specimens that are rare, unusual or expensive. We have commitments from members who are Master Gardeners to bring some "goodies" from their collections.
Most of the special auction plants will be one-of-a-kind. If there is more than one of an auctioned plant, the high bidder will get first pick.
All donated plants will be labeled to the best of the member's knowledge and will include the name, height, habits and growing requirements for light, water and spacing.
Refreshments will be available.
See you there!

Important information for Members...
The Garden Club would like each member to contribute 3 or more plants to the fundraiser.
Labels will be available at the April and May meetings and information will be given then about preparing your plants for the sale.
Pots will be available for members to use for their donated plants. Anyone who has pots to share can bring them to the April and May meetings.
Do not "pot" your sale plants in plastic bags, please!
Members can bring labeled plants to Cindy's house on Friday, May 18th,
from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. for set-up. Help will be appreciated to prepare for the sale. Tables for the sale will be arranged by sun and shade loving plants.
Bring plastic bags to carry your purchases home on the day of the sale. This will keep your car cleaner!
If you can do so, bring some cookies to share at the sale!
Cindy's phone number is available in the membership booklet.
