All programs meet on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm in the
Evergreen Park Public Library, 9400 S. Troy, Evergreen Park, IL,
downstairs conference room, unless otherwise noted.

Trowel and Error
Presenter:  Sue Palka, master gardener
Sue will facilitate a discussion of members' successes, problems, and puzzles
with their gardens and yards this season. Sue is a founding member of our club
and a master gardener. Come with your questions!

Making Mead, a Honey of a Drink

Presenter: Anna Stange
Anna Stange, Blue Island resident and folksinger, musician, canner, environmental activist, to name a few activities, will be presenting a program on making mead for the garden club's October meeting. Samples may be available for tasting.
Mead  is an alcoholic beverage created by fermenting honey with water, sometimes with various fruits, spices, grains, or hops.

Create a Fall Flower Arrangement

Presenter: Sue Palka, master gardener
Sue will assist us in creating an autumn flower arrangement that we can take home.
Cost is $5.00 for flowers and supplies. Come and express your creative side!


December 6, 2018

Christmas Arrangement and Holiday Get-Together
Presenter: Sue Palka
A hands-on workshop on making a decorative arrangement for your home.
Sue Palka will bring supplies and members can bring any
of their own ribbons or decorations to personalize their creation.
We will have a little holiday party while we work.

Date to be announced. Chicago Garden Show trip is sponsored by the Library.
